Remark:
A ridge of high pressure over B.C. is trapping moisture near the surface creating an area of dense fog in the vicinity of Port Alberni. While visibility may improve in the afternoons, fog is expected to redevelop each night.
The ridge is forecast to weaken and incoming weather systems will flush out the fog by mid week.
Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times.
If driving, turn on your lights, slow down and maintain a safe following distance.
